Mayo Schmidt is President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a Director of Viterra. Leading the company, Mr. Schmidt has established a strong foundation for the Company’s growth. With a strategic and disciplined approach, Mr. Schmidt and his Corporate Management Team have positioned Viterra as a leader in shaping the future of agriculture, and expanding Viterra’s reach and influence in North America and abroad.
Fran Malecha Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Fran Malecha, Chief Operating Officer, oversees Viterra's Grain, Agri-Products, and Livestock Feed and Services businesses. He was previously Viterra's Senior Vice-President of the Grain Group, responsible for grain merchandising, transportation and logistics, and elevator operations.
Rex McLennan Chief Financial Officer
Rex McLennan, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for leading Viterra’s global financial operations, enterprise risk management and relationships with the financial community. His main focus is developing financial strategies and long term plans to facilitate profitable growth and development consistent with Viterra’s strategic plan and objectives.
Karl J. Gerrand Senior Vice-President,
Food Processing
Karl Gerrand, Senior Vice-President, Food Processing, is focused on the development and expansion of Viterra’s footprint within the food industry. He leads the Corporate Development team in the strategic planning of value added food processing opportunities, M&A, investment projects, and strategic partnerships.
Andrew Muirhead Senior Vice-President
Corporate Development
Mr. Andrew Muirhead, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Development, is responsible for leading Viterra’s global strategic business development and growth, identifying and implementing business opportunities aligned with the company’s overall objectives. In 2009, he played a key role in the company’s acquisition of ABB Grain in Australia.
Rob Gordon President, Southeast Asia and
Senior Vice President, Viterra
Rob Gordon, President, Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia and Senior Vice President, Viterra, joined the Company in January 2010. As the leader of Viterra’s operations in Australasia, he is enhancing the Company’s Australian and New Zealand operations to achieve high performance and optimize operating efficiencies, with a focus on superior service to growers and customers.
Doug Wonnacott Senior Vice-President,
Agri-Products Group
Doug Wonnacott, Senior Vice-President of Agri-Products, is responsible for leading the Agri-Products Division which provides seed, crop protection products, fertilizer and equipment through retail locations to western Canadian growers.
Bob Miller Senior Vice-President,
Grain – North America
Bob Miller, Senior Vice President, Grain – North America, leads Viterra’s business of grain handling and commodity marketing. He is responsible for the grain asset pipeline (from producer to destination customer), including transportation and logistics, country elevator operations, and port terminal operations.
Don Chapman Senior Vice-President
International Grain
Don Chapman is Viterra’s Senior Vice-President, International Grain and recently joined the Company in October, 2007. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Don is a senior executive working in concert with our Grain Group team and is instrumental in developing and implementing Viterra’s international growth platform.
W.D. (Bill) Mooney Senior Vice-President
Feed Products
Mr. Mooney is responsible for leading Viterra’s feed products manufacturing operations in North America.
George Prosk Senior Vice-President,
Financial Products
Mr. Prosk is Viterra's Senior Vice-President, Financial Products, and is responsible for the development of Viterra’s credit programs. With over 20 years of experience in the grain industry, Mr. Prosk came to Viterra in 1993 from Cargill Ltd., where he served first as a Financial Analyst and later as Treasurer.
Ray Dean Senior Vice-President
General Counsel/Corporate Secretary
Ray joined Viterra in November 2003 as Vice-President, General Counsel/Corporate Secretary. He is responsible for overseeing the provision of legal services to all areas of Viterra. In addition, he is Viterra’s Chief Compliance Officer and is also responsible for providing governance advice to the company’s Board of Directors.

Human Resources and Transformation
Mr. Steven Berger, Senior Vice-President of Human Resources and Transformation, is responsible for leading Viterra’s global Human Resources function, overseeing employee management and recruitment and retention initiatives, incentive and compensation programs, labour relations, career and personal development programs and succession planning initiatives.
Colleen Vancha Senior Vice-President,
Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs
Colleen Vancha is Senior Vice-President of Viterra’s Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs Division. She manages the company's investor relations program, continuous disclosure obligations and oversees the company's global public affairs function, including advertising, brand management, communication, and sustainability programs.

and Chief Information Officer
Mr. Mike Brooks, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, is responsible for Viterra's global information technology function, including the relationships Viterra has with its service delivery partners.
Richard Wansbutter Vice President,
Government & Commercial Relations
Richard Wansbutter is responsible to the Chief Operating Officer for representing and advancing Viterra’s commercial interests within the business community as well as being responsible for government relations.
Stephen Yu Vice-President and
Managing Director, Asia
Stephen Yu, Viterra’s Vice-President and Managing Director, Asia, works in concert with Viterra's Grain Group team to develop and implement the Company's international growth platform in the Asian Region. His main focus is developing business operations in the area and expanding Viterra’s expertise to bring greater value to the Company’s producers and end-use customers.
Christian Joerg Vice-President and Managing Director, Europe
Christian Joerg is Viterra’s Vice-President and Managing Director, Europe. Based in Geneva, Mr. Joerg’s work with Viterra’s International Grain Group team involves developing and implementing the Company’s growth platform and global arbitrage logistics in the region.
