About Feed ProductsViterra is a major player in the North American feed manufacturing industry through our Feed Products group. Viterra Feed Products provides nutritional expertise and formulates and manufactures livestock feed through operations in western Canada, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Montana.
Feed Products also engages in a number of value added services that compliment our manufacturing and sale and distribution of feed products to enhance relationships with customers. These include financial services, nutritional consulting, and commodity and ingredient forward contracting. In addition, through our Canadian retail business, the Mill Store, we supply a vast selection of supplies and animal related products for the commercial livestock producer and hobby farmer.
Safety, Quality and CommitmentThrough ongoing investments in infrastructure, Viterra has one of the most modern and efficient feed mill systems in North America. The Canadian operations are certified or compliant with FeedAssureTM, a customized program of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines. Our feed mills are equipped with advanced systems and equipment that ensure the products are safe and offer superior value to our
customers.
Canadian OperationsIn western Canada specialty feed formulations and feed product manufacturing is well diversified between dairy, beef cattle, poultry, swine and other specialty feeds. Feed processing is conducted from one pre-mix manufacturing facility and six feed mills centers in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba.
United States OperationsIn the south and southwest United States, Viterra operates, under the Hi-Pro brand, seven feed mills that manufacture complete feeds, supplements and pre-mixes primarily for ranchers and dairy producers.
