Viterra Celebrates Grand Opening of Geneva, Switzerland Office

Viterra Inc. hosted an opening reception of its Geneva office on November 12, welcoming European business leaders and government officials to the event. It was an opportunity for Mr. Mayo Schmidt, Viterra President and CEO, to introduce Viterra and present the company’s mission to deliver healthy food ingredients from areas of surplus to world locations where populations and food requirements are rising steadily.

 

Mr. Christian Joerg, Vice-President & Managing Director, Europe, is responsible for implementing Viterra's growth platform and global arbitrage logistics in the region. This includes the development of Viterra’s capacities in marketing of grains in the main importing countries of Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as building up a sourcing network for our core commodities in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
