As a result of Viterra’s successful business combination with Bunge, the former Viterra Prairie Pinnacle will become the Bunge Prairie Pinnacle beginning in 2026.
The Prairie Pinnacle represents the highest level of women’s curling in Saskatchewan, with top teams from across the province competing for the chance to represent Saskatchewan at the national championship.
"We're excited to continue our longtime partnership with CURLSASK, which is a great opportunity to support this premier sporting event, as well as top local talent from across the province,” said Kyle Jeworski, Head of Bunge in Canada. “Most importantly, the values exhibited by our curlers – integrity, respect for others, and teamwork – are qualities that are shared by our employees as they work to provide our customers with superior service.”
CURLSASK Executive Director Steve Turner expressed his excitement about the new partnership: “We’re thrilled to continue this strong 12+ year relationship with Bunge as the title sponsor of the Prairie Pinnacle. Their commitment to supporting sport and community in Saskatchewan is outstanding, and having their name attached to our premier women’s event is a perfect fit. This championship is a pinnacle moment in many curlers’ careers, and Bunge’s support helps us ensure the event continues to grow and showcase the very best in Saskatchewan curling.”
The first Bunge Prairie Pinnacle will be hosted in Melville, Saskatchewan, at the CN Community Centre from January 5–11, 2026, where Saskatchewan’s top women’s curling teams will compete for provincial glory.
